SMART Goal 1
Undergraduate Competency:
Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
SMART Goal:
By December 1, 2016, develop my ability to come up with reasonable alternatives to address a problem through my class assignments such as my final project for Marketing Fundamentals.
Progress/Plan:
I will take time to meet with professors for guidance and feedback as needed.
It’s important for me to develop Critical Thinking and Problem Solving skills because I have often relied on others to validate my opinion and thoughts.
SMART Goal 2
Undergraduate Competency:
Agility and Adaptability
SMART Goal:
By December 15, 2016 I will have a positive experience with my Math course, by being mindful of my mindset during moments when I face setbacks or failures
Progress/Plan:
Where my reactions are more fixed, I will change my self-talk, learn from the setbacks, and work harder towards mastering math topics. I will use my professors office hours, seek tutoring on campus and form a study group as needed.
SMART Goal 3
Undergraduate Competency:
Communication Skills
SMART Goal:
By November 18, 2016, learn how to prepare professional PowerPoint presentations on Lynda.com and to take the lead on creating the Marketing Fundamentals team tradeshow presentation.
Progress/Plan:
Having good communication skills is an important life skill to have because it’s something that I will use daily.
